Semi-detached house external insulation in Tallagh
This semi-detached house in Tallagh, Dublin 24 had mixed solution of insulation. The front wall was insulated inside by 70mm phenolic boards and gable and back walls were insulated externally (approx. 95 sq m) by 100mm Platinum expanded polystyrene (EPS). This helped to achieve required U-Value for walls: 0.27 and to keep the front appeareance unchanged. This house also had its huge roof insulated on slopes level and all windows replaced.

Terraced house external insulation in Whitehall
This terraced house in Whitehall, Dublin 9 had two walls of about 40 square meters in total to be insulated externally. The back extension was already insulated from inside. The walls are made from solid concrete blocks. We have applied insulation material of 100mm Platinum expanded polystyrene (EPS) which helped to achieve required U-Value for walls: 0.27. For slopes in gable wall in front we have applied aluminium flashings to protect the insulation. All cast iron pipes and gutter have been replaced by the new ones.

Two Semi-Detached houses external insulation in Rialto
This building, consisting of two semi-detached houses in Rialto, Dublin 12 had two large extensions in the back and of about 275 (125 + 150) square meters in total to be insulated externally. The walls are made from solid concrete blocks and the problem was cold - particulairy from the side gable walls. As usual, we have applied insulation material of 100mm Platinum expanded polystyrene (EPS) to get required U-Value for walls: 0.27. To provide stylish look and feel there was two old style door arches rebuild.

Terraced house external insulation in Cabra
This terraced house in Cabra, Dublin 7 had two walls and back extension of about 49 square meters in total to be insulated externally. The walls are made from solid concrete blocks and the problem was cold and dampness - particulairy in the extension. We have applied insulation material of 100mm Platinum expanded polystyrene (EPS) which helped to achieve required U-Value for walls: 0.27. To provide better air circulation there where additionally three new vents installed. Front iron rain pipe was replaced also with the new one. See works gallery...
Pitched roof with an attic space insulation in Drimnagh
This case was to insulate of about 40 square meters of pitched roof of terrace house in Dublin 12, Drimnagh. Before works started there was poorly insulated habitable attic and four slopes in bedrooms containing only small amount of fibre glass covered by plasterboard. We proposed the customer to remove all plasterboards and fiber glass and replace it by two layers of polyurethane boards - one between the rafters and another above it with additional plasterboard. This case was to insulate of about 42 square meters of two walls of terraced house in Dublin 12, Drimnagh. The walls were made from solid concrete blocks. The insulation material was 100mm Platinum expanded polystyrene (EPS) which helped to achieve required U-Value for walls: 0.27. There was also additional plumbing work involved because all back pipes had to be replaced with a new ones. See works gallery...
External insulation of Semi-detached house in Walkinstown
Another semi-detached house in Walkinstown, Dublin 12. About 87 sq m of side and back walls in total were to be insulated externally. The front has been already insulated inside. We have applied, as usual insulation material of 100mm Platinum expanded polystyrene (EPS) on all walls. All old sills were covered by smooth aluminium parapets with high quality powder paint.

By this terraced house in Drimnagh, Dublin 12 about 64 sq m of walls in total were to be insulated externally including back extension. We have applied as usual insulation material of 100mm Platinum expanded polystyrene (EPS) on all walls. There was also additional plumbing work involved because all back pipes had to be replaced with a new ones.

Bungalow external insulation in Kingswood
This very cosy bungalow in Kingswood, Dublin 24 had had mixed solution of insulation as well which kept the front brick appearance unchanged. The front wall was insulated by cavity filling and back gable and side walls were insulated externally by 100mm Platinum expanded polystyrene (EPS). The total surface for external insulation was about 74 sq m. The gates in both narrow passages have to be refit with narrower shapes.

Pitched roof / attic insulation in Tallagh
By this semi-detached house in Tallagh, Dublin 24 the was high area of more than 50 sq m of pitched roof in the attic to be insulated. On all surface we applied two layers of phenolic boards (70 mm between the rafters and 60mm above the rafters) what made U-Value of the roof of requred 0.20. The final finish was plasterboard only which makes this attic ready for habitable conversion. This house had also external insulation done.
