Gallery of works : External wall insulation, Dublin 12, Rialto

This building, consisting of two semi-detached houses in Rialto, Dublin 12 had two large extensions in the back and of about 275 (125 + 150) sq/ m to be insulated externally. The walls are made from solid concrete blocks and the problem was cold - particulairy from the side gable walls. As usual, we have applied insulation material of 100mm Platinum expanded polystyrene (EPS) to get required U-Value for walls: 0.27. To provide stylish look and feel there was two old style door arches rebuild.
