Gallery of works : External wall insulation, Dublin 24, Tallagh

This semi-detached house in Tallagh, Dublin 24 had mixed solution of insulation. The front wall was insulated inside by 70mm phenolic boards and gable and back walls were insulated externally (approx. 95 sq m) by 100mm Platinum expanded polystyrene (EPS). This helped to achieve required U-Value for walls: 0.27 and to keep the front appeareance unchanged. This house also had its huge roof insulated on slopes level and all windows replaced.
